Physician Mentoring
& Coaching
Are you a physician engaged in clinical, educational, and research activities? Would you like to improve your performance in any or all of these domains? The right mentor can help you achieve what you can’t do alone.
Jon Davids, MD speaks your language and understands the challenges you face
As day-to-day demands increase in our profession, mentoring can be given short shrift. In recent years, the concept of “coaching” has migrated from the business world to medicine. The majority of coaches, however, are not physicians, and their skills may not address the specific challenges facing physicians who are clinicians, educators, and researchers.
Jon Davids, MD believes that academic physicians are most effective mentored by individuals who have “walked the walk.” He brings a depth of experience and expertise to the issues that matter the most to you.
WHat Mentees & colleagues say
I have known Jon for over two decades. Over the years I have reached out to him on multiple occasions as a mentor, guide, advisor and friend. Jon has a wide range of clinical skills. He is recognized nationally and internationally for his clinical and surgical performance as well as his thoughtful and impactful research. He has mentored countless students, residents and surgeons (like me). He is honest yet thoughtful and has incredible interpersonal skills. I cannot image anyone I would trust more to be a better mentor and coach.
